rear shock bush

Wondering if anyone can advise which way the rear shock absorber top rubber bush mounts into the turrets - down from the top (from inside the trunk), or up from below from inside the turret - please see illustration attached. Option A makes the most sense to me, but I'd like to be sure. Thanks...
