turn switch

Hey Everyone, I am having this occurrence on my 1974 3.0 cs when you switch the blinker on it just stays on and does not pulse. It happens on both sides. I am wondering if the mechanism is grimy and needs to be cleaned or if it’s a further wiring issue. Any thoughts here? Thank you
