A grand day out for sure.
Excellent meeting and reconnecting with many.

Lotsa neat stuff on the grass as well as in the parking lot too!

Does anyone know who's car this is? It was taken by a friend of mine at the Brisbane Marina show last weekend. Is this the same owner that bought from the Seattle owner that saved it from getting crushed at CoPart? Just curious if anyone knows the back story? If not same owner, I would love to know the story on this one. Thanks in advance for any info . If same owner, wow, it has come a long way in a short time.

Last Saturday at the 02 Show & Swap.
We had a nice groupe of BMWs from the Sacramento area get together and cruzzz to the bay.

First stop to pick up a members son and stretch our legs. It was also a good time to regroup before heading over the bay bridge and go through the City.

Heading home was a bit of a challenge for me, I lost my electric cooling fan right before the packed bay bridge and my temp gauge started to go up. I went towards the Golden Gate Bridge while Shanon went the bay bridge. My son and I pulled off into SF BMW and fixed my wire connection and headed home through SF.

We meet back up with Shanon and back home in no time.

Anyone have an update on the date this year for the show? Last year was in May it looked like. Coming up. I looked at the website and didn't see an update, maybe I missed it. It was May 6th last year. Got it, May 5th it looks like. This is just a one day Saturday show, correct?

Always a good time.

Hey Bmachine

When you get hit no bumper is going to help. It just kills your bumper and shoves it into your trunk

It might save your taillights though and some other structural damage by taking initial impact.....who knows.

Here’s a pic of my rear end after it got hit by a Sac county police officer. Hit the car at about 25mph , notice no bumper crease from the bumper.

What a great show. Great meeting BarryG and his son Michael. Norm's Glas 1600 GT was super cool. There were 8 or 9 Tourings on hand. Always fun seeing my NorCal friends from way back and meeting new ones. Met George with the only other Golf Bavaria that I know of that makes it out of the barn or garage. Hope to go next year. Oh, and of course Andrew, thanks for making the trip out West! Always great to see you! Mike, Chris, Fred......always a good time, thanks for the hospitality and road tripping! Oh and the sand colored M10 motor was actually made of cardboard, not sure if anyone here knows who that is but that is what I call a labor of love there!
