So one of the items that I was supposed to get with my engine was a 123 dizzy. Well someone took mine from my go home box. So I just said I’ll order and we will settle up.

Carl sent me the recommended one. But it’s the switched one.

Should I use the plus instead? I mean it’s not like my engine is hugely altered. It’s a Korman stage 1.

Any other advise?

It is a matter of what features you want. With switch the programs (16) are pre-programmed. The Tune+ allows you to make changes on your phone to the advance curve (should you need it) and an immobilizer that you can enable if you leave your car parked unattended at any time. That feature is probably worth the upgrade.

I also recommend that you spring for the "up-rated shaft with reverse oil groove," to slow down oil intrusion into the upper reaches of the distributor. A few here have found that to happen occasionally, with the gears to problem appears to happen less frequently.

I’m not sure I’m adventurous enough to make my own curves.

But I do like the immobilization feature. Not that I leave mine unattended that much. But it is cool.

Food for thought.
