15" x 7" Alpina Rims - what are these?

These are the rims that came with my project car. The car was on a makeshift dolly when we bought it and I did not really look at the rims too close, then I looked at them in the trailer the other day and saw they were 15", not the 14" I assumed they would be. 8" wide too.

Does anyone have any insight on these? I can only find limited info on non 14" Alpina rims of this era.

Back in the day, there were a few aftermarket wheel companies that manufactured 15x7” Alpina knockoff rims. But the only one I’m familiar with was the MSW brand (made by OZ). This was my old set, since sold. Bought new from Hardy&Beck back in 1991.

Yup. You need to measure from bead seat to bead seat. In general you can just measure the wheel and subtract an inch. Not all wheel lips are the same size though.
