I have tried RE-11's on my Brother's Miata in a 205-50-15. While obviously not a similar application, I thought they were great. Quiet, smooth, grippy and civilized. I have Star Specs on the same car and they are a bit more raw feeling. Either would be on my list for a CS. I went Continental, but I figured I won't be strafing corners like the Miata in it. Love to try them all....and have more than 20 minutes seat time in a CS.

I had endless air leak problems with Potenzas on our VW Rabbit. The ride was fine, but they would lose air really fast. One of them would develop a tiny hole right after the previous repair. I cut my loses after 10k miles and switched to Michelins.

your mileage may vary ... i currently have re-050's on my porsche - still plenty of tread left at 16,500 miles ... not even close to any issues. you gotta like porsche's policy, if you get a flat, replace the tire - no plugs in a high speed tire (insurance buys new tires). i had re-760's on my audi a3 (2 sets - no issues).

I found a neat website for used tires today and I ordered a set 4 for 100.00+shipping.
I can't wait to mount on my new wheels. (them 8" are sick looking!):)
