A local car. I may help determine a valve but I'm not that familiar with them. Anyone familiar? I can check out BaT but I'd like to know more details about their problem areas.

Well, if you could pick it up for a good price, it might be worth your while. It's a good color and has the factory hardtop, plus everything looks pretty complete and in decent shape in the limited pictures. I'm personally not a fan but I lot of people love them - I think, mainly, because they look like a 7/8ths 300SL. I finished a restoration on a 71 280SL, it was beautiful but my company car at the time (Ford Taurus) was more fun to drive. I'm guessing the slower 190SL is even less fun to drive.
 
Not interested for myself but may help them put a value to it. Or find a buyer..
