1969 2800 sedan red - Imperial CA $800

Tempting, as long as they throw in the "EL PEPE1" license plate.

I could be wrong, but I'm thinking wind blown dirt and baking are the delitorious factors here. I say deserves a look and if it's lucky saving :)

Reminds me of the time I asked my son to wash our minivan.

I think I'd buy it to park on my lawn if I was ten years older and more of a hoarding Coot. I get the feeling it is dry. I think a Bavaria is really well put together automobile.

Here's the discussion on the Senior Six email list from someone who recently looked at the 2800.

We went to look at the imperial county car, the engine is trashed and there is more rust than you might think for a desert car. Biggest issue is there is no title whatsoever, so it's pretty much a parts car only. The interior may be worth it, it's filthy but decent. dash is shot.

On the upside you can visit lovely El Centro.

I would go in wearing full Ebola protection and make sure I was up to date on my tetanus shots.
