After a read through what appears to be an honest description from a nearly 40 year owner of this project car, I keep coming back to the subtitle: "Disassembled for restoration". What a great tag line. I only hope I am not writing a similar advertisement in 38 years :(.

There is a note about the interior woodwork having been "refinished with polyurethane", though I do not see any pictures of these pieces.

this should be listed as a not-for-the-timid project ... or significant experience required to restore this coupe.

Seems like a pretty upfront description of a project. People seriously looking at a "project" car in, most cases, do so because they feel it's something worth accomplishing. I doubt they need to be told how complicated and expensive the process will be.

rwolak ... you obviously couldn't tell that i was speaking with my tongue firmly planted in my cheek.

Yeah, I was being funny too, but then my wife doesn't get - or laugh at - my jokes either.

I learn as much by disassembly as reassembly. In fact I rely on the former to complete the latter.

There's only an hour and a half left on this auction and it's still at its first bid of $4k. Yup, lots to do in the restoration but this seems like an ok price if it truly is compete.

With a few minutes left, here come a few more bids. I agree that at this price this is probably a decent project. As mentioned by bavbob, disassembling something yourself is a powerful and valuable learning tool. But this forum is a great resource for the winning bidder.
