1970 Paint Upholstery Colors

Hi Everyone,

Here are scans from a 1970 paint and upholstery brochure. There's also a table here that indicated which interior and exterior colors go together for different models.

Interesting, no white leather interior?

Sadly it's difficult to get a color accurate scan with home equipment. That's not even close to what Chamonix looks like. It's so close to white, but isn't, that it's usually assumed to be pure white by the software.
A few percent error in the other colors won't mean much as they are much more intense. All it takes is a few percent error for Chamonix to appear pure white.

Thanks for the scans, the more data we have on our cars, the better.

These brochures only show standard colors/materials even though leatherette (Skai) was an extra cost option.

I agree the colors in the scan aren't accurate. The best thing to do for a good match is to find a spot on the car that was never exposed to sunlight like under the package shelf and use that for a reference. What I liked about the brochure was the table of what goes with what.

So, Colorado (02) was not offered on the CS in 1970?

I have never personally seen a Colorado 2800CS but it was available on the 3.0CS for sure so it was likely available. You see it on the early CS race cars which were 2800.
