If you had an independent shop do a five speed conversion, what would it cost ballpark ?
mine is 2280487 ... it has short studs (feb 71).Scott,
We are both correct. They were introduced at 2270244 and 2280266, manual and auto for USA, respectively. Also used from 4330001, 4350001 and 4360001 and all US 74s and 2.5CS.
Chris
the first pic was the white coupe from cormier. the silver one is the one with the low struts ... it is a '71. my '71 has short studsScott,
I think they were replaced when short stud versions were still available. This is from the Orange Parts books.
The white car has spacers, look how low the strut cap sits, at fender height vs the first coupe.
