1972 CSi Restoration

Currently restoring my car and one of the more esoteric changes is installing a S52 motor. In researching out this installation some upgrades have been suggested to increase hp such as replacing the intake manifold for one from a M54. Cam upgrades have also been suggested. Has anyone performed this installation and is their any other recommendations. Thnx.

Check bimmerforums or one of the e30 sites. You won't find much info here on hopping up an s52.

How about you detail your restoration? We'll all be interested how you fit the motor.

S52.. .isnt that about 240 hp? Much easier to just hop up an m30 I would think
