hi. trademe - its like New Zealands ebay - back in the day when ebay was expanding, they kind of overlooked little NZ and a local guy built his own auction site - it caught on big and then when ebay tried to enter - nobody really used it - not sure ebay.co.nz is even a thing anymore! Anyways - pretty straight forward auction site - very much like ebay but less complicated. This auction is reserve met with the current highest bid at NZ$40k - so it will sell
 
I've used Trade Me a heap of times to indulge another hobby of mine.
It's a very reputable site, so I'd have no qualms on bidding if I were in the market.
Curious to see what it goes for.

yeah - it was a guy with an Australian registered account that bought it. No idea how hard it is to import older cars into Au - as far as I know they have quite strict regulations
 
Real easy to import cars into Australia. Especially from NZ - it will get hit with 10% goods and services tax, but no import taxes on cars that old. Freight should be reasonable.

Really it says he’s from Wellington.
Not hard to import here. At that price though he would have paid some Luxury Car Tax on top, but not much.
