Patrick,

your coupe looks good, where are you located / what are you hoping to get for it / asking price? have you registered the VIN on e9-driven.com?

good luck with the sale

oh holy hell its the Tijuana-mobile. Unless this car is north of the border with paperwork, run at top speed in the other direction

I think I was clear in posting that the car is located in Calexico Ca. thats north of the borther with Mexicali it is in the Iperial Valley you can google map so you will know were it is and that it is in the US and I do have the correct paperwork for it .

Hi Patrick,

Given that this car has been for sale for over a year, why did you recently increase the sale price? Did you have work done? If so, do you have receipts?

I do have the receipts for the work done and parts

Hi Patrick,

I'm not looking for a $20K car. However, I am somewhat curious about the price given that I have been watching your car, and I saw the price dip down to a very tempting point. I think that the increase is worth mentioning, as I did in the other FS thread about this car. At your low price point it seemed worth the perceived risk that his car elicits. Not as much anymore, IMO.

I hope that you aren't getting frustrated with this group for asking questions or expressing concern. I think it's nice to get that stuff out of the way before any tire kickers have you crossing the border just to riddle you with concerns, promises, and lowball offers.

It looks like a really nice driver, and I hope that you and a buyer can work something out! Someone will bite eventually. As long as you aren't paying for storage, you shouldn't be losing money.

For the record, I went to see this car over the weekend. I had been corresponding with Patrick about it for about a month.

Patrick turned out to be an outstanding gentleman. He took numerous picture of the sections I asked him about and many that I did not ask about. He is not a Coupe specialist but, given that, his description was very accurate and he came to pick me and my wife at the border and brought us to his home so I could give it a thorough check. He made a real effort to present the car as truthfully as possible and I was very impressed.

I really wanted the car but in the end someone else offered more money than I. Patrick kept me informed all throughout and even offered to let me have it a lower price. But the difference was too great so I could not take it home.

But at the end of the day none of the fears that some have expressed were justified and I would not hesitate to do business with him again or to recommend him to anyone.

He lives just south of the border but has a pass to come stateside at any moment and has an associate with a flatbed who can deliver cars to San Diego or L.A.

Bo
