I know I am opening a can of worms here but would love your input.
I own a very nice daily driver with 127k km on the clock.
It is a 4 speed manual with open lug Alpina 16's on it.
The condition I would say is "good"
I have a small dent with cracked paint on both sides above the fronts wheel wells from the tire, in a turn, hitting the body panel. Also I have slight cracking in the paint and a little bit of rust bubbling showing up forward of the rear wheels.
Shock towers are solid and I have been very careful with her all the way around.
What ballpark value would your collective base put on such a car?
I have an unsolicited offer on the table and dont want to get ripped off.
I love the car but am debating the following:
1) Continue to enjoy driving on clear days and deal with the inevitable maintanance including a real rebuild at some point in the future.
2) Store it for a few years and then rebuild.
3) Sell it and move on.
I know I will be the target of a certain amoutn of ridicule here but appreciate your feedback in all forms.
