1973 3.0CS from Coupeking on eBay

well its currently at 25,100 ... so its risen significantly today. will be interested to see where this ends up. i think it will give us a good clue as to where the market is. somebody looking for a project ought to look at this - closely

i am hoping that somebody on this forum snags this coupe to put the love into it and restore it to glory.

Very nice specimen indeed. Looks like a true survivor that for sure benefited from the CA climate.

well it sold for 32,100 ... which is a very respectable number. i guessed it would sell between 30k + 32.5k. hopefully somebody here bought it and will be a good steward of the coupe ... and not some flipper like BHCC or goog...

Well done! That is a very reasonable sale price and restores my faith that the E9 market is strong and well described cars sell well :-)

Cheers
James

Holy canoli! What a difference 15 years makes. I bought a very similar car from CK; dry solid, running, needed paint, interior etc.... $6K
Of course after some bodywork, a new interior, window seals and a 5 speed, I drove away from CK at $12K, still a bargain. Those days are gone.

yep ... times have changed. now CK has a couple of completed cars for sale north of 100k ... one same color scheme as yours that is north of 150k. gives you great moments of pause on coupe values. now the interior alone would be more than 6k. and the 5 speed would be between 5k + 6k.

I look back and smile. I could not afford my own car now! I wounder if I should increase the agreed value with Hagerty?

$12K?!! I used to really like you Stan. Now I have this angry jealous hatred brewing. :D
