Interesting that this car has the same type of door trim asked about in the General Discussion forum....!!!?
It was a factory option on my Father's '64 Mercury Comet.
seems (potentially) reasonably priced, but somebody would need to check out whats lurking under the black rattlecan paint under the hood ... and how much rust there actually is and where it is. might be a a more realistic project than some of the 6500 / 8500 cars we have seen recently.
Price just went up to $13,500. He must be getting a lot of interest.
Saw this coupe at the huge Pomona swap meet this morning, on a trailer. It's a rusty POS. Owner said no strut top rust, wrong!
What was his asking price at the swap meet?
$12,000 and he claimed fuel pump just failed so it can't start.
How convenient.
