1973 3.0CS on BaT... again (earlier sold in Jan 2022)

Appreciate the heads up - Thanks!
Tate--Here is the tan interior you wanted, which is the best match for Baikal.. In today's market, this car might reach $75K again. The only obvious flaw is the trunk tool box clamshell. You could sell the Kidney and headlight grill for about what you'll pay W&N for the new toolbox. (Keep the heavy tools in a tool roll). The old York A/C compressor will suffice in Seattle summers. Remember, you'll never find the perfect 50+ year-old Coupe. But Baikal/tan, A/C,5-speed is a good start!

Plus one that almost all 50+ year-old Coupes will have flaws unless they have gone through a $150-200k top-to-bottom restoration. This one looks really, really nice and in one of the best color combos. If I were in the market, I would bid on this one (after asking for additional photos of rust-prone areas).

that is - if its done by a restorer who knows what the f*!k they are doing with coupes. we have all seen coupes that have undergone expensive restorations and just aren't correctly done. there are some that get the big stuff right and miss the little stuff ... but then there are those that get a lot of stuff wrong. it pays to choose your restorer wisely.

Well said. I was making the assumption of a quality E9 restoration shop in my comment. It is heartbreaking to see bad work done on Coupes.
