1973 BMW 3.0 CS for Sale in Portland Oregon

With a saddened heart I'm posting this. My very good friend and fellow forum member, Gary (73E9er), has become very ill and is currently in hospice. He has asked me to help him sell his beloved coupe. He has owned the car for 24 years and it is his baby. I've known the car for at least 18 years. It is a 1973 3.0 CS, Chamonix, with a sunroof and a four speed. It has a custom blue and tan interior. It's a great looking coupe and as far as I know the car is very rust free. I am very tied up through the 4th of July weekend and I won't be able to get over to his house to get detailed pictures for a few more days. He's asking $65K for the car.

oh wow ... so sorry to hear this. hopefully somebody will step up to be the new caretaker for this coupe.
 
Such sad news. Gary is a super nice guy who loves talking about his coupe. He’s taken great care of it and drove it regularly.

This is very sad news indeed. I'm sure both he and his wife are grateful and, more importantly, comforted by your assistance with this during such a difficult time. It has to ease Gary's mind knowing that you are there to make certain that his beloved coupe will find a wonderful new caretaker.
