1973 bmw 3.0 cs (wa)

A local coupester went by to take a look at it yesterday. There are apparently two there in the showroom. The blue one just sold at an auction for a higher price. It seems the dealer didn't know what he had. Could have been a good deal maybe. The other one they have is a 74 that is red, mid $20's, single owner car with all the records, some rust around the sunroof.

They had more pictures of the blue one on their website. Looked like it was from a knowledgeable owner.

I looked at both yesterday. As Sven mentioned the blue sold and it would have been a steal at the asking price.

The Red one they have there is a really solid car with great potential for restoration (however I'm not an expert so please don't take my word for it.

It's a one owner WA car with all the records since new including original window sticker.

The interior is Tan and is in pretty good condition. There's some bubbling on the sun roof but other than that not bad at all! Has 74 bumpers, the front one looks to be pushed in slightly on the passenger side but I didn't see any other body damage.

They have it under cover, it's dark so again I only gave it a good first look so I'm not vouching for the big stuff that you guys are very good at dicovering but anyone interested in buying a coupe and working on it should consider it a possibility for the price.

Hope that helps.

I sent the dealer a request to scan the window sticker from the red coupe and send to me, no reply. If anyone goes to see it maybe they would scan it for you. It was sold at Roy Carver in Costa Mesa who also sold RRs.
