1973 CS on BaT, NMNA

i just took a quick look after it popped up on my morning emails and think it might do reasonably well. several weeks in a row with a coupe on BaT ... not wild about the steering wheel, but that's easily solved.

Lots of interesting comments on this car now. The owner has had the car for 37 years and is doing his best to answer questions from BAT'ers that will not submit a bid.

This looks very nice and rust free, with the fender replacements. The steering wheel, road wheels are easily corrected. The seat leather looks a little tired, and the photos are not the best. The dash has been wrapped in leather or vinyl to cover up cracks I assume. Not terrible.

A local shop is re doing my leather interior on my 2800 CS with materials from GAHH for 4k, all in. I guess they buy the materials for a LOT cheaper than the general public, because my total cost is only a little more than the retail price of the materials.

WIth better presentation, this car could bring 80, but it may only pull 55-60 as it presents now.

what are the thoughts on the engine? can the body stand the horsepower coming from the engine? I've been in 2 b35 e9s and that was enough hp for me haha.

Amazing price for a 3+ car (dash needing work, underhood slightly above average, no good pics underneath).

What recession? What virus?
