yes this is 2285418. was for sale earlier in the year on BaT by Legendary Motorcar in Ontario. in 2024 Oldenzaal completed the LHD conversion. the car has a build date of 1-29-1973, was delivered in London 5-24-1973. i show that it was owned by D.B. Hodson in the UK in 1985 ... but no other records. i think the ask of 205k is a bit ambitious in this market

The inside scoop was that this car was purchased for roughly 250k from Oldenzaal. I think the chance of recovering more than 75% of that number is probably unlikely considering the current state of the less than perfect, accurate with provenance E9/CSL market.

I saw it at Oldenzaal in 2024 or 2023, and was suprised to see welding blobs along the fender seams, front to back where spotwelds were suposed to be..

If i had 300k euro to spare, i would have bought the all original cs they had in the shop. For 1/3 rd of the price, and walk.out feeling i bought the best car they had.

A Csl, regardless of price with fake/ after market fender arches is an indication of insufficient Csl knowledge……..
