1973 E9 Seal Question -Help

While assembling the lowere rocker panel I noticed the parts manual shows a seal which has peaked my curiosity. Can anyone confirm if there is a seal as shown in the photos please? #9 in 51/14 shows the issue trying to determine.

yes ... there is a seal that goes on the side of the aluminum jamb panel.
its 8.82 euro each from W+N. this trim was NLA for a period of time
