I am selling my 1974 BMW 3.0CS for sale. Have had since late 90's and has been garaged. Car currently has late 88 fuel injected 6 cylinder from 735i and 5 speed trans. Interior has been redone in tan leather and is still in great shape. Seats were replaced with period correct Recaros years ago. Becker radio and Petri steering wheel is are also installed. Went through A/C and replaced what we had to (compressor, parallel condenser, ect. ) and now it works great. Replaced small rust area years ago and can't see any additional areas present. No shock tower rust but at some point rears were repaired. Car has 16" staggered BBS RS wheels (7 & 8s), bilstein heavy duty shocks, La Jolla springs but no sunroof. This car was originally Amazon green with tan interior but was repainted black before I bought it. Paint is in good condition. This car is a very nice driver and is located in Carlsbad, Ca. 92010. looks very nice, good luck with the sale. you have convinced me that BBS RS wheels are the best for a black coupe.
 
This will be sold very soon, I think it's a very good price for the work put into it- some more pics would shorten the sale timeline though :-) Good luck and I hope you find another so you'll remain active on the board!
 
Dtortoise9 - do the BBS RS wheels have polished lips - or are they finished in a different way.
 
i might like them better with a soft polish (between a satin + polished finish) ... if a polished finish is a #7 and a mirror polish is an #8 ... i think a #6 to 7 would be perfect for a coupe ... more like the belt trim. a brushed finish is a #4 finish

your pic also gives me a view toward the black grilles (side + hood) and black wipers. my 2800cs - its all chrome.

somebody get after this coupe - i completely agree with Peter. petri wheel / bbs rs wheels / recaro seats - that's a 5000 add alone. then there is the b35 3.5 and 5 speed, bilsteins + la jolla springs - everything you want for a coupe. at the price you can put on early bumpers if you want ... and with the starting point you have a great investment
