Hi all,
I've recently listed some parts on eBay.
They are:

1974 turn signal stalk (left mounted)
http://www.ebay.com/itm/331914434259?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649

1974 windshield wash stalk (right mounted)
http://www.ebay.com/itm/331914430984?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649

Left tail light lens and housing
http://www.ebay.com/itm/331912509082?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649

Right tail light lens and housing
http://www.ebay.com/itm/331912515361?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649

They all have a "best offer" function so, if you feel the price is too high, please feel free to make an offer

is this the point ?
i recall it was sort of a tradition that we offered here parts to forum members before offering them in ebay, suposedly at a reduced/better price

we are seing that this is increasingly an advert/publicity area for ebay listings

things are changing, coupes are more popular, new people, ...ah, that's life !

Sorry if my post steps on your toes and if it is an inappropriate post, then I understand if the moderator would remove it.
For the record, I'm not a newbie here even though my avatar says "new member" In fact, I've been a member here since 2007 although I haven't spent much time here since 2011 when I, sadly, had to sell my coupe. Every now and then, I come across a few parts in storage and - since I have *no idea what the values are - I do some research on eBay before listing. If you'll notice in my original post above, I did come here and remind the other members that there is a "best offer" feature and feel free to make me an offer - i.e. "reduced/better price"

Dorchester,

FYI, I bought a new windshield wiper/washer control (stalk) for a '74 3.0 CS from Walloth and Nesch for about $175. I had quite a few items in the purchase, so the additional shipping cost for the control was minimal.

everything is fine, we got used to that way i mentioned, we will get used to this new "trend" (it is not only your case), all is fine,
recently i was pissed off by someone that did something unexpected, did not answered my request for a week and then sold the item locally (so convinient), well that's life, new times new ways, i wish if only the coupes were left alone unearthed being a price and joy for connoisseurs and dilettante, now all the f...king thing is soooo popular ;-)

I concur. Post here first. You may sell without incurring that 10% eBay fee.

This is a fair point, but my only challenge was that to post here I need to manage photos via a photosharing site and then insert links etc. By comparison using the ebay app I snap a few photos with my phone, upload, describe and done. Hence the links are easy. That said, if a member reaches out to me directly I am happy to sell at a discount :)

All you have to do is click on "Upload a File" at the bottom right of the Reply box and it uploads you photos to the site here. No need for photo sharing sites...
