Just thought I would share these. Very proud of my girl. Took a long time to sort out the UK rust !!

Very nice. The two tone color combo looks great (black top paint?). Did this have the vinyl top covering originally?

Thanks Guys,
I added the blue vinyl roof as I think a full length Webasto looks odd on a painted roof. Hopefully it works.
The SatNav/Stereo is a Kenwood unit and it all folds away to allow a cheap dummy facia to be fitted on top. This deters South London thieves who are some of the best in the world !!

Car looks great, I hope to get mine looking like that some day.
Do you mind me asking, who did the paint-work for you?

Very nice, wheels are not to my taste but the speaker enclosures are very neat. (You need a cover for the diagnostic socket by the battery though!)
What is the blue thing behind the last inlet pipe?
is it a 435.... chassis number?

Blue Thing

Yeah, dude, what's that blue thing? You got that intake looking pretty nice -- I want to do the same. Whole engine compartment envy, is what I have...
I don't have a blue thing and I'm a Yank -- I see you like he red accents more, but I gotta know what the blue thing is too

Hey I recognize those wheels. I never figured I'd see a set on an E9. They look great.

Here is my recent thread on said wheels. I was missing the center caps, so I made caps and sprayed the centers black. They have an original Alpina look to them. You could give it a shot with no effect on your "caps on" look. I think they would look great with a vintage look.
