Up for sale is this 1974 3.0CS in Dallas. This is a Euro model, you can see by the speedo showing Km and other bits indicating euro model. The car was previously owned by a Dr in Dallas who passed away last year. I am helping his widow find a good home for it. It was garaged during his ownership from 2006 to 2024. I will include as many details as possible to help you in your consideration this nice 3.0. As you can see from the photos, its Polaris silver over a tan interior. The interior is in need of replacement at some point, but is drivable as is. Overall paint shines, but there are some scratches on the front hood and rear lid. There is some rust on the driver door corner and a small dent on the front driver fender. I have included pics of the inner fender with the plastic liner (obvious add-on) removed. No rust there. Other pics from inside the car to reveal any firewall rust, none found. Spare well also clean. I have a large folder of receipts that appear to go back to the 80s. They do show an engine overhaul in 2006, work done on the front fenders to replace both(assume it was a rust issue). The car was in Nashville when PO purchased in 2006, driven to NC while he was in Med school, and then settled here in Dallas.
I have done brake work on it to repair both front calipers where one piston was stuck. Both from were refurbished, new pads, new rotors and bleed. Passenger rear caliper also redone, but not getting any fluid to caliper. Have not diagnosed this any further. Wires, cap and rotor replaced. Car starts up everytime. New battery. Tires with plenty of tread, not sure their age. 4 speed manual trans. Wheels updated to 16" alpina and steering wheel as well.
I will be glad to answer any question about the overall condition of the car based on what I have learned the last few months I have worked on it. As I said, brakes not great, but will stop it.
I can provide videos of engine running and of a drive in the car.
Starting price: 42K OBO
