Alpina original Auslieferungsbescheinigung aus Buchloe. Weniger als 40 Stück gebaut laut Alpina.
Unfallfreies Sammlerfahrzeug mit original 80.000 Kms, sehr gepflegtem Auto. Unglaubicher Zustand, kein Rost.
Original Alpina Umrüstung mit B2 Motor,drei Doppelvergaser und 230 PS. Scheel Schalensitze mit Alpina Bezugsstoff, Alpina Lenkrad, Schaltknauf und drei Zusatzinstrumente. Drehzahlmesser mit roter Zone ab 7.200 U/min. Alpina Felgen und Bilstein- Stossdämpfern.
Das Auto ist in Deutschland, in Gevelsberg, in der Gegen von Düsseldorf, zu besichtigen.
Spanisches Zulassungs.

funny how electric mirrors are in North America position.

yes, @bfeng, you are right, the left side view mirror is electric powered. That was the very first time that BMW offered so a gadget in their cars and, as the BMW Alpina B2 3.0 CS was not a racing car, but a highway car, the first owner choosed to keep it, although the weight increase.

The right side view mirror is from an external provider with the trade mark 'Frese', typically used by Alpina due to its lightness, and it's not powered.

Also you, @sfdon, are correct, the rear side windows are fixed because the power devices were removed in order to reduce the weight. As you may see in the centre console, there is no push button and all four are capped, as even the front power devices were removed.

Let me ask you, what do you mean when you say 'North America position' for the mirrors?

I believe all FL E9’s with the electric mirror option were placed by the vent window post.
2.5 Cs had fixed rear/ manual front windows and manual steering but electric windows and power steering was a factory option amongst all the other options available for the E9

Yes, about the electric powered side mirror position it's exactly what I wanted to say: all were positioned post the window vent. Also in the very last series from E3 is in the same placement.

And regarding the equipment from the 2.5 CS, as properly point @Keshav out, I was told that this was one of the reasons why people took this model as preferred for an Alpina conversion basis, because those were cheaper and mostly with this 'electric powered reductions' done.

The point is that only 844 units from this BMW 2.5 CS were ever built.
