1988 e28m5-e9 csi

Hi all, This has been probably been covered before but I need to be sure before I continue, I am restoring a 73 csi and would love to put the engine, transmission ,brakes etc from an M5, I was told that the E28 M5 can be transferred easily.. Is this the case.

Yes it can. There are more and more being built each year.

I have the opportunity to buy a complete 88 M5, as i already have a standard CSL the idea of converting my CSI appeals to me.
