2000cs 55k?

I have reason to believe(I had a dream) that Allan Ginsberg drove my coupe to the Burning Man festival in the desert where the Maharishi sprinkled it with Holy Water from the Ganges and the Hare Krishna crowd chanted from dusk till dawn.

Any ideas what my heirs should ask for it when I pass over to the great beyond where 100 Virgins await me?

Sorry, I am not a sports fan but an English teacher. this was the best I could do.

Famous CS owners

I am still looking for Jerry Garcia's green CS
the Coupe King just sold George Carlin's Verona CS
Stan

And to think I let Sandy Koufax's Polaris coupe slip through my fingers when it was on eBay years ago...

Wait a minute, Ginsberg drove my coupe to Burning man, or was it Koufax?

This car has been on eBay before at the same amount, unfortunately $60K on restoration doesn't guarantee a return of the same amount.

2000 cs.

I'm the actual owner of this CS, right now I'm selling the car for US 35.000, if you have any questions, please let me know. [email protected]

2000cs fans

For those who are into original 2000cs models & provenance, I know of a used car dealer in the Philadelphia suburbs who claims to have the first 2000cs imported & displayed by Max Hoffman in New York back in the day. I've seen it...sitting outside for years. He is under the belief that it will not cost much to restore & make a nice return on his "investment."

NO ONE into coupes thinks Max Hoffman show cars are the ****. And NO ONE who is NOT into coupes would buy one just because it had "Max Hoffman provenance" I know.

If it is a nice car, it is a nice car! Who cares who the previous owner/owners was or were. It is of no relevance!

Whoa boy...slow down. Did you get a bad deal from him (many) years ago? Not getting what you are trying to say.

Nice 2000

I thought this was the car that was for sale in the Chicago area on E-bay back a while year or so ago? Ex football player or coach owned it?

lol...hey cowboy don't be a-frettin' none ...I own the 2800 coupe that Hoffman used to introduce the 6-cylinder CS to the US market.
There may be a couple noisy people who call THAT "provenance", myself, I just say "pfft"!

"Max" is just not that big a deal, to me or even real BMW weenies.

Most of the people who buy re-done cars at the CS level are (for the most part) likely to say "Max who"? And thats the ejummacated ones!

That'sa all'sa I's was a'gettin' at a-sayin'
