I put some stuff on the auction site and I'm getting nothing. I spent a fortune getting these parts home from GA.

Did you contact Don Deflethasan(no idea how to spell his last name) who runs
"the werks" in Chicago. Years ago he drove a 2000CS from Chicago tothe BMW Hdq in North Jersey. What about Dan Kutorov, coupe guy, or Carl Nelson or Coupeking? Are they strictly e9?

No but I should have. Too late now, they won't let me cancel. Live and learn.

With 13,696 produced but only 23 in our Registry it indicates even fewer of these have survived in comparison to the E9. And there is no record of how many were imported to North America either. Try posting your ad on the bmw2002faq site.

Did you say anywhere in the ad that the parts were also being sold privately? If so, that is your out. Otherwise tell them you changed your mind. What can they do?

23!!! That's insane. Did the cars from Art's old newsletter get transferred over? What's this about being sold privately? You can cancel at any time then?

The CS Registry database will be added to the e9 Registry at some point but I don't know how many of that model were registered. The BMW VIN database does not segregate the 2000 by country of delivery as there was no unique U.S. VIN series which does exist for the e9.

I think eBay charges a listing fee even if no sale happens, you just save the commission on the sale.
