Taken from factory brochure pic, it looks the rear windows are flush w/the body-line.

My coupe has a little edge of glass which I think looks interesting, but hidden glass seems more practical....

Just an interesting bit of history...

None of the windows can go completely flush... always seemed like a design flaw to me. Or maybe they new you'd have to be able to grab them to help them start their upward journey?

Not to be a spoil-sport, but I have seen examples of open windows that sit flush with body moldings. Without much study of the matter, there are adjustable rubber stops that may have something to do with the full window travel. But there may be more modification involved. :-?

I can't tell with the present monitor, but it looks like these are examples the "flush" look. (Or maybe this is the look with windows removed!)

I always assumed the slightly raised windows, even in the fully open position, had something to do with encouraging good road manners, but E911 has a point about window-lift-assists.

That factory fjord always looks good to me...

From a styling standpoint I personally like a little window showing, looks like there is a story there....(slow motors or elegant waterfall down-up operation--your choice!)

Nothing beats a clean-look however and I am surprised there are so many pictures at full tilt--nice to know about the bumper stops

The problem with getting them super low is that they may stick in the down position, the mechanism seems to torque down as you lower the buffer stop
