Hello all,
Since quite a few members have 02’s, im sure this will cause a reaction, one way or the other.
A company called EVERYTIMER has made this modern interpretation of the legendary 02! Basis chassis is a modern 1 series cabriolet.
Based on the price of 120K€! this a thought thru and built car.

I like its simplicity and the small cues from the original. i.e. front turn signals. Perhaps BMW should look into doing something similar with even more 02 cues.

I be getting behind the concept, if, it’s dash had a design cue or two from a 2002. I do see they addressed a 2002‘s poor ventilation though.

i had at least 5 2002's years ago…. even a rally 2002....but don't see me driving that "thing". Looks so fake....

The rake on the windshield, the high beltline, the thick A pillar and the look of a huge C pillar when the top is up are a huge departure from the wonderful 2002 greenhouse.

I rarely see modern takes on old designs that I like.

Would love for them to do a sedan (coupe I should say) instead of this Baur rendition.

I like some elements, others not so much.

i would expect a retro interior , perhaps hiding the modern stuff.
And SURE no auto..... that joy stick ruins the looks . Even Morgan uses it in the new Plus Six.... pity silly.
