Members,

I'm seriously contemplating buying a 2002 in the next 6+/- months. I've talked to a couple of members about this and I thought signing up at the above website would be a good idea. Turns out that as I visited the website I was bombarded with ad after ad over and over again. As soon as I Xed out one ad another would immediately pop up. I recently turned off my pop up blocker for another site that needed me to do that. I will revert back to having the blocker on but wanted to know what other members here had to say about their site. It reminded me about how junky Comcast was when I used them for a short, very short, period of time.

This also gave me time to reflect on how fortunate we are to have the E9 Coupe site ad free. Thank you administrators and member who contribute.

Speaking of which it is the end of the year and an opportunity to contribute $$$ to our site.

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and Happy New Year to all Faiths and Religions,

Regards, Jon

Sent you a message but not sure it went to the right address about a 2002 I am selling for a friend.

Ads on the 2002 FAQ site? What the faq? That is reason enough not to buy a 2002.

The 2002FAQ web site - and forums - worked fine for me just now....
It is an excellent site (in general) and has a great deal of useful info. I have never had any pop up issues (that I can recall anyway).
I used to go there very often when I had an 02 - and still go there on occasion.

Regarding 2002's - Any specific question(s) you have?

Jon, I had the same experience with ads when I joined faq. For a couple of bucks a month membership you can eliminate all the ads.

I heard from another member on our Forum that the ads go away when you become a paying member. I wonder how many people have been scared off not knowing that membership and paying eliminates the ads. For me it was a real whack a mole experience and maybe someone should tell the admin for the site that crawling through broken glass to pay a fee to sign up doesn't work for everybody.
I may try again and where my crash helmet for moral support.
Regards, Jon
