Easy to make a few hundred quid on a car when you have a really good mechanic working for free!
That said, I enjoy watching. Some of the stuff Ed does, I could actually do. But when he fixed a broken Audi gearbox, that was way beyond anything I could ever do! He makes it look easy. Too easy.

My wife even likes watching the show. She notices that it seems more real, with a lot more of the work being shown and the cars not being perfect, not every nut and bolt looks new, etc. I guess that's what she's used to with me. lol
