It's been a while since I did anything crazy like badges, patches, or the like so I decided it was time for a new E9 calendar; our last one was published in 2008. Rather than run a long contest I simply grabbed photos from the Registry and just went ahead and used my personal judgement (good or bad) to create a calendar. I really don't have the time to do a mass order taking and printing (last time it was about 250, I think) so I decided to simply post a printable PDF file which can be downloaded. If you want download it it is about 11MBytes and it is here:

2012 E9-Driven Calendar -- after it downloads you can right-click on it and select "save as" to put it on your computer.

I am considering professionally printing up a limited number of them and sending them to people who make a $25 or greater donation to the E9-Driven registry. During our first year of registry operation we received sufficient donations to buy enough donuts for our web guru, Tom, that he gained some weight, this year I am afraid he is losing weight. The last time I printed them they were printed on heavy matte stock, spiral bound with clear covers, and a drilled for hanging. I am open to suggestions on this.

Happy New year! :)

I was bit concerned about copyright but all the images have been uploaded to a public site (www.e9-driven.com) and none of them had any copyright data/notices in this so I considered them fair game. I actually even looked through the files with a binary editor for embedded copyright notices and there are none. We also are not trying to profit from this so... I hope there isn't an issue. I am sure that someone will tell us to cease and desist if there is an issue and we will happily comply.

I noticed that the Jabberjaw is sporting an E9-Driven grill badge!

If you look in the upper right corner of the reference image, you can see attribution, but no copyright notice. Still, might be nice to drop a note to the photographer or Alvin. Here is the photographers site:

Damn that car came out great....

Great Job!!!

I will go for 2 if you have them printed. Please let me know if you're going to do it otherwise if you don't mind I'll print just two for me at the printer next door to work. Of course if you're going to do it then the cost/quality would be better... Also, is that green color "Amazon Green"?

I have sent an email to Alvin to see if he has any objections to seeing his coupe on the cover. If there is an objection I will perhaps do a collage; there are now over 900 photos in the registry to chose from.

Jabberjaw is now owned by--

one of our E-9 coupe site members--if that is key to OKing use of the photo for the cover.

I'm trying to get quotes on printing today. The first printer went to yesterday was out of business. I should have a decision very shortly and I will let everyone know.
