Here are a few photos of BMW's at the show. I must say I was very impressed with the show overall. Many makes from many decades represented.

That Schwarz Neue Klasse with the Alpina Borranis has my vote... very classy

first pic is almost the '86 Pantera GT5S i had... but i had the OEM magnesium wheels. Those in pic are "stupid" on that car.

Scottevest was asking about the CSL wind splits, roof hoop and air dam without the rear wing. The graphite coupe shows the look. I'm no purist, so it looks pretty cool to me...

There is no right or wrong on this. I never mind doing something that looks cool. But personally I do mind trying to make something look like something it's not. These add-ons are so closely identified with the CSL. Either the car is one or it's not. But that's only my take on it.

The owner of the coupe is a cool guy, he did his car the way he wanted to do it. The white Alpina 2002 was not an Alpina nor did it have much in the way of Alpina parts on it, cool guy, nice car besides that. The Turbo 2002 was not a Turbo, just a turbo look, nice guy too, just doing his thing. BMW car guys just having fun with what they have, creating looks that normally would cost 100's of thousands of dollars if the real deal. Most of us don't have that kind of dough. It used to bother me to, it doesn't anymore. This show will grow, watch, nice indoor venue with Metal Halide lights that really make the cars shine. Nice indoor parking, good variety, only two years old. This will be a big venue some day I think.
