Sad. If had been kept undercover would be ready for resurrection instead of parting. As is local to me I'll follow in case becomes available at fair parts price.

I wouldn't immediately conclude that it's a parts car. The restoration section has some pretty compelling rebuild threads right now. For a motivated diy'er, this could be the opportunity that hasn't presented itself in the past.

Also, I don't think that sitting in the rain is nearly as bad as driving in the rain. Snow is a problem though.

while that may be true, it looks like a pack of mice / rats have made a happy home under the hood. at least its price more reasonably than the $6200 csi with no engine / tranny
 
Look at all those oak leaves under the hood. Was it stored with the hood open?

I live near Ashburn and might be able to take a look at this thing if anyone is seriously interested.
 
The tool kit shell has only one small crack in the two mounting screws. That alone makes it more valuable. Who knows what rare screwdrivers are hidden within.

Mice don't eat sheet metal. They will eat copper. At that price point, you can consider the engine and wiring harness trash.

The guy bought a shop that included the "unknown history" coupe..has some holes in the floor...dormant for "a long time"...has another engine included in the sale...invited him to join us here.
