Only 43 U.S. 4-speeds were produced in 1969 beginning in September and the vast majority if not all are considered 1970 models. Even Murray's 0016 is a `70. Doesn't make much difference, you still have a very early 2800CS. I hope it finds a good home.

actually... in those days if a dealer wasn't able to sell a '69.
he would have gotten a new sheet from hoffman making it a '70.
that was how it was done back then. So if my car sold before Murray's
it is a 1969. even though his has a earlier vin

Like i said , you can't really go by the sale date to know what year the car was manufactured. If the dealer wasn't able to sell a 1969 in that year , he would get a new build sheet from Hoffman auto and it would be a 1970, or a 1971 depending on the year it finally sold. That's why there are cars with build years that don't really fit into the vin # sequence.

Do you have pics of the bumpers and trim work?
What condition are they in?

Thanks!

Don

Hello Don I don't have the bumpers , they need to be replaced
But the trim is in great condition and all there

Interested...

I was curious about the running state of the car. Based on some of your videos, it sounds to be idling well and drivable. What would it need to be roadworthy? Also, are there any rust spots that you know of? Thanks...

she drives very well actually. I would replace all control arm bushings for sure
The car is been in storage for a long time but runs once a month , so I don't know if the wheel bearings would be fine after the car drove a bit or should be replaced as the grease seems at least 15 years old.
I compared it to another car recently discussed here on the board, but I can't find any of the issues described with that car on mine. like rusted window frames or such. mine has some sheet metal, that would like to be replaced on the top fender and passenger door jam.

Pics?

The descriptions are great. Do you have any photos posted of the car? I was hoping to show my bodywork guy photos of panels needing repair and replacement to see if this is something I want to get into. Thanks,
Jason

One more...

Also, I forgot to ask. Does the car have a clean/clear US title?
