Gary Beck took these photos a few months ago for me for an interested buyer that has not contacted me recently.

I consider my CSL better than the 2275024 that sold recently for $187K at Bonham's in Carmel, CA. I have enjoyed owning it, but it is time to let it go. It has become too valuable for me to enjoy on the road. I am offering it for sale at this time for $200K cash or pre-1933 gold coins. If interested and have the ability to purchase at this price, PM me to make arrangements to consummate the sale.

No Dave! Been there! Done that! };>) At 72, it is time to thin the herd. Be safe. RB

Roger:

This highlights the irony facing more and more of us -- we work hard to refurbish a coupe to its former glory...and then get afraid to drive it. Particularly the case now for CSLs, but perhaps more of the rest of us soon. Case in point: 356s. It changes the hobby, but maybe that's the natural course of things. Increasing values make it more feasible for more of our cars to be resuscitated, so that's a good thing.

Yours is a beautiful example. Even if I had the means to consider it, I'd probably be hesitant to drive it much. GLWTS.

Don
