2800 CS from Rotors

I just had my 2800 at our local, vintage BMW shop for some brake work (Eurotech in Mission Viejo). Tim, the proprietor there, was able to turn my disks, so no replacements were needed. But I asked him if he could have sourced new disks if mine had been too thin to turn. He replied "oh yes, I can still get replacements". Sorry, but I didn't bother to ask his source.

It's my understanding that they aren't available so it would be worth asking where he gets them. Rock Auto claims to have them but it hasn't worked out when purchased by members of this forum:

FYI, We sell a vented caliper spacer kit to convert the non-vented calipers into vented calipers for the front brakes. The kit is complete with everything included for the conversion, except for the vented disks.

Did a Google search and came up with these......

https://www.partsgeek.com/6y2t8gc-bmw-2800-brake-rotor.html Although Raybestos.

Classic garage part # .....of 089 matches and a great price for a pair!

Parts Geek also says they have ATE and Dynamic Friction brands in addition to Raybestos (also quite reasonable)
These are wrong. The original ones are 10.7" rotor diameter. these and others show 11".
