Hello everybody,

I've been reading this forum for a while, must say, very interesting and talented people here!
Here are some pictures of my E9, got it from the Netherlands, original swiss car (deep rust in front fenders and floors).

These are pictures on how it was listed on a site in the Netherlands.
For now, this is what i've got:

I still have a lot of work left as you all can see..
But everything is moving slowly (i've got time).

For now I do not know any E9 drivers in Belgium, haven't seen a lot around two.

Regards,
Maxim

Welcome to the club. What part of Belgium are you in? I spent a year near Mons as an exchange student. Beautiful country and hoping they do well this summer.

Welcome Maxim
It's amazing to me how good you guy's are with rebuilding these cars! And I'm freak'in over pulling a auto for a 5spd. Good luck and take a look at Stan's car with the white and red combo!!

Mons is the French part of Belgium, pretty far for my. I live at the west side of Flanders. Near Kortrijk.
There is a lot of madness here for this summer, everybody is hoping for the best.. (but I fear the worst, knowing our history).

Stan:Very nice coupe, but I'm not fond of the red&white combo, think I will get mine in polaris silver whit a blue or black interior.
But I'm not there yet, first there is some welding to do, former owner made quite the mess of it.
Will register soon!

Either welcome Maxim finally a Francophone on this site.
One can work on your E9 but what fun after, like you I am not fond of red leather preferring the lighter colors, white and black for me.

Hello Jean Luc,

Maxim.

---------------------------------

The white e9 is sold now, I now have this one (pictures above).
I've bought this car and it came with a lot (!) of e9 spare parts.
If anybody needs anything, let me know!

Maxim.

That picture is exactly what I did with my coupe last week after my cell phone fell somewhere and I could not find it any other way. It came right down, plus tens of coins some of them German Marks, one tamale, and a doner kebab traced back to the Karmann assembly line.

When I told my wife she said I was an idiot because I could have called my own cell phone to find it. She may be right about one or both points.

My wife is from Belgium. She grew up in Gits, 6 km from Roeselare. I haven't seen any E9s in Belgium when I'm over there, but I did see one last year in France near Le Crotoy followed by a 2002. It was a national holiday in May, so they must have been out for a holiday drive.

Gits is pretty close to where I live. Out here I only know 1 man who uses it every day, all the rest only drives on sunny days (of wich we don't have too much here).
I do have seen a black one on a rally stage lately.. Pretty cool car, I'll look up some pictures of it.

That is one awesome story man! Mine also had a LOT of junk in it.
