I posted the question a few months ago and got no response. I recently replated and rebuilt a set of 3.0CS fron calipers to replace my sticky worn out front calipers on my 2800CS.

The 3.0CS calipers and rotors are a direct fit, you can use the same hub, strut housing, brakes lines and even pads. Only thing that is different is the brake pins. You will need pins for the 3.0CS as the caliper is wider due to the vented caliper.

I purchased the rotors from Ireland Engineering for $80 (pair).

Congratulations.

On my short list of things to get to. Simple, comparatively cheap performance upgrade. Doubt the absence of rear discs will be of any real consequence unless driving through a river!

I also have the rear calipers and trailing arms. I want to wait till I can box the arms in and powder coat them. I also plan on ditching the valve in the rear.

At this point you haven't changed swept area in the front and your brake bias should be OK. No master change nor other adjustment. Just increased disc cooling efficiency. A good thing.

Go to disc rears another series of issues to deal with.

Only one persons opinion, but having the majority of the braking force taken in the front, rear drums are not a significant factor...again, except in wet conditions.

Personally I will do the fronts and won't be bothered with the rears. Have other priorities which I believe will be effort/money better spent given how the vehicle will be driven. Heck, given the potential for rust some won't even wash their coupes with water much less drive them in the rain.
