I have just found this forum and I'm not sure this is the correct area for my questions, but hopefully they can be answered, or I can be directed to where they can be responded to.
I have a 70-71 , 2800csa. #299. I've owned it for about 25 years.
I have some issues with the car that I need to have addressed.
First, the windshield is cracked. In itself, this is not a problem. I can get it exchanged. The problem is with the decals on the windshield.(Shift speed, etc.) Obviously, they will disappear if I change the glass. Are these stickeres still available anywhere?
Second, I am in need of one, rear bumper override. Any source for such?
Third, has anyone ever changed the heater blower motor variable resistor? I'm wondering how accessible the switch w/resistor is from under the dash.
Finally, I have gone through 2 ac compressors in the past year. Both lost front oil seal gaskets. Has anyone else had this problem? and/or found a solution?
