The Parts guide has two grill part numbers for coupes;
51-13-1-801-604 this grill is thinner on the chrome circumference and has 5 vertical black of chrome bars in the middle. This is original in black on my '74 CS. It is no longer available new.
51-13-1-826-809 wider chrome exterior and 4 vertical black bars. I can get this part but not the other. It was standard on 3.0 CSL and maybe CSi.
Would it be terrible to install the second part on my CS? I am not restoring a perfect show car but I want it to look great.
I could buy a used older version grill but good ones are expensive. Does anyone have a good grill to sell me?
