I bought the car in November 2013 from the second owner...no visible Rust...but I was aware of the the problems of the CS. It was an interesting experience. I attach some fotos of the "bigger" problems.
It was fun to find missing (or better parts). My local BMW dealer knows me very well now and Walloth an Nesch was also helpful. I think these türkis E9 with the silver-gold wheels looks really 1970 style...I like it very much and it is a kind of headturner if I show up.:wink:

Now all work is done for 2014...finally the BBS Mahle rims are painted new in gold/silver.

3.0 CSA fine-tuning

Hello,
as it is winter here in Germany I have time to do some finetuning at my 3.0 CSA:
- added colored BMW Motorsport roundels to rims
- mounted new chrome nuts
- now it is The Ultimate Driving Machine :razz:
- mounted air-hoses for the front brakes
- mounted footrest and cut carpet correctly

...also:

-sewn a toolroll for the tools....so the box at the trunk lid is lighter
-mounted an BMW chrome license plate holder.

3.0 CSA finetuning

Today I had time for some finetunig....I am not sure about the türkis shark stickers....
I mounted the early Motorsport roundel (70 mm) at the back because it was used at the original racing CSL also
