3.0CSA new ignition and rolling road Dyno

Have had a modern ignition system fitted and then rolling road.

Got lucky on having no crankshaft pulley nut!!

She pulled 150bhp on the dyno (at the wheels). Well happy with that she has 85,000miles.

Anyone know what bhp loss on the automatic transmission?

Thanks
Matt

Not an expert but that is the proverbial Trick question?
Bhp is measured at flywheel. Most dynos measure whp.
So even awd auto filled with glue, no wheel bearings and flat tires bhp won't change.
My guess, if whp is 155 bhp is probly 175 - 180, the manual says 180.

Or should I say....yhpmv:-P

Don't know about the Power loss at the automatic but if Horse Power = (Torque * RPM) any torque converter with no lockup means that the power at the wheels must be lower than the power at the flywheel even with no friction losses.

Ok arde, just fooling around here....
So by your calculation ...
If my coupe has 20mkp at 4000 rpm
I have 80,000 hp
That's awesome

Just joking ...you forgot to divide by 5000 or so! No wonder everyone is breaking shock mounts!
Grins.
