Hi guys exactly a year ago today I started working on the body of my e9.
She had been parked and almost buried in my garage for about 6 years .
Anyway because of the Covid lockdowns I suddenly had time on my hands .
So . In 365 days I have found a lot of crumbling metal most of which is replaced at this stage , I don’t know how she wasn’t shaped like a banana there was so much of the sills missing .
I have a lot of the welding done but still some welding jobs left to do but the list gets shorter every week !!!
So far I have used about 8 small cylinders of argon about 200 tig filler wires , I burnt out 1 welding plant ( the thermal overload is stuck on ) and used about 20 cutting and grinding discs and I am pretty sure that I must have controlling shares in waloth and nesch at this stage . But hey I’m still here and still moving ever closer to driving her some day .
Here’s to the next 365 :)
And thanks again for all of your help and tips throughout !!!!
