Hi,

I believe this is the car that was previously (not that long ago) offered by Canepa for $75k and dear Mr Canepa has never knowingly left a spare $ on the table, so thats a fairly substantial increase in a very short time.

While this price currently looks like an outlier to me, E9s are starting to get some serious recognition, but the big money guys only want the best, so its CSLs or CSs that have had everything done to them like this car are bringing the big $$$.

I for one think its about time, I have no doubt some detractors will say "it takes the car away from the true enthusiast" etc, but the reality is there are still some decent E9s to be had at less than $25k and to make a car like the one that sold at RM would take up most of the difference in price.

As the saying goes "be careful what you wish for". That wish is starting to happen.
