Well, here we are. I have been the beneficiary of years of experience when it comes to the rear door armrests for my '72 Bavaria.

On the advice of consul I have narrowed the search to stock original armrests, Either like the ones in the photo, or the "L" shaped from a 3.0 or a 3.0L

Thanks to all of you who who spent any time on this.

Hi Steve, I have just taken a closer look at my parts Si with the L arm rest in the rear. I don't think they would work with manual windows. The crank would be hard to get to and tough to wind it. The Si has power windows and the switch is under the ashtray. I could be wrong.

I do have all 4 power windows regulators with switches and wiring if you really want to dive off the deep end.
